Title Speaks For Itself!

Sad Day

Postby HBprospector on Mon Jan 25, 2010 11:54 pm

well after six years of fighting my wife's grandma passed away last night. my wife and i were taking care of her through the whole process. i have not been prospecting in months. my wife's uncle is down from sac., so we are going to go to the EF tomorrow and do some detecting and sluicing. nothing major just a day to get away from the city. any ways i'll post pics of the river when i get back.

Jeff,so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Was wondering why I hadn't seen you for a while. But it was good to see you at east fork last week-end. Hopefully I'll be getting my car fixed soon and be back up there.

Peace . . . Sherri

So how you figure you'll go Hoser? Maybe we could take guesses. LOL Sorryy to hear about your loss man. I have gone through all of that already, and it is a difficult time for sure for the survivers. So now its me and two siblings outof the original 3 siblings, all raciung to see who dies first. I am trying hard, but I think my brother has me beat so far, with all the fatty gravy, and meat, and booze, and sits at a desk all day.. He looks pregnant. I figure he's gonna keel right over any time now. Thats the way I wanna go too. Not linger as a vegitable like my grandparents did. maybe go down while out prospecting.

I like to say "I want to go out quietly like my grandpa, not screaming like all of his passengers did".
My wife asked me what I planned on doing today. I told her, "nothing". She said, "that's what you did yesterday!".
I replied, "yea, I know, I wasn't finished".
