Postby Nuggetdigger on Sat Aug 29, 2009 8:41 pm

ill post an after picture when i get home monday!

Image

anyone want to hazzard a guess on how much is there?

its all $100 bills...

hint: when all stacked up, the stacks about 4" thick

If Bill Gates spent a $100 per second, day and night, for a year he would end up $2-billion richer at the end of the year, assuming a conservative 10% return on his investments. Wealth generates more wealth.

So does that mean we are going to have screamin' raffle prize next time around??? And here I thought you were some broke ol' guy trying to make a living fishing...... Glad to see ya can do that.. nothin' like a new toy..
My wife asked me what I planned on doing today. I told her, "nothing". She said, "that's what you did yesterday!".
I replied, "yea, I know, I wasn't finished".

Nice Roll!!! 8)

Well I will guess, but you said "about 4 thick", so my guess could be off some what without the exact thickness, well compressed a $1000 in $100 bills is about 3/32", so 4" of $100 bill would come to about $42,000, so I going to guess $32,000 8) giving the "about" and the compression factor.

Is there a prize for who's guess is the closest?

Nice wad! Also, nice clean, trimmed nail! Your DS would be VERY proud that his lessons suck! Goodluck hunting at the RV shop, I can tell you from recent experience that if you have cash in this environment, you can get great deals, especially with used stuff. I imagine that things are very tough at the RV shop, and they need the cash flow badly.

actually, thats around $15K in the picture.....LOL...
i read the stuff below and thought id screw with ya a little

"A stack of $100 bills one-inch high is $25,000. A lot of families in this country live on that much or less per year. A stack four inches high is $100,000, a pretty good salary for a professional or management position. A million dollars is a stack 40-inches high, a little over three feet tall. A million dollars isn't what it used to be, but if you have it and invest it with a 10% return, it would bring in $100,000 per year."

check this shit out

"Income is not the same as wealth. Most of us are consumers. We consume our income almost as fast as we earn it, with little reserve. The very rich don't spend very much of their money on consumable goods. If Bill Gates spent a $100 per second, day and night, for a year he would end up $2-billion richer at the end of the year, assuming a conservative 10% return on his investments. Wealth generates more wealth. A curve representing the distribution of wealth is far more lopsided than the distribution of income. The bottom half of the population controls almost nothing. According to 1989 census figures, 40% of the nation's wealth is controlled by the top 1/2% of the population, and it has become even more extreme since. "

this is the one im getting right here from redding rv if it checks out OK and meets with the bosses approval

http://www.reddingrv.com/pre_owned_deta ... eh=1068576

the salesman i know down there said that the suckers like brand new, and probably hasnt been used 50 hours. he said he went thru for me and checked everything out yesterday to make sure its all premo ( he said the damn fridge and freezers still got the stickers, ect in the inside and he dont think they have ever been used..LOL)

NOW.......i have to go to go to redding tomorrow morning, check the RV out , and then hang out for something like 4 or 5 hours whilst they install the hitch, wiring, ect and get the shit ready for me.

sucky part is ill have to sit around down there for all that time doing absolutely nothing.

Cool, that a nice RV, and it will leave you with a little left over for gas, I just guessing that they may give you a little better price than what is on their site!!

I made my guess base on a few $100 bills I have until i pay some bills and my wife see them  , and I just realised I had them folded twice and only figured them folded once, so $2000 would be around 1/32".

Either way that handful of cash sure looks nice!!

DON"T LET OBAMA SEE THAT CASH!!

Would be nice to have a few million and live off the interest!!

actually, i am getting a better deal. im getting the 5th wheel, the mount setup ( over 1K just for the mount), complete wiring (including wiring it up so when im driving it ill charge the house batteries), all the brake setup and everything, all included in the deal for $9k.......the 5th wheel bluebooks itself at almost $9K (looked it up myself!>..LOL)

yea, ive seen that. people win big hunks of cash, and then in no time, its all gone and they barely have shit to show for it. not me though. personally, if i get lumps of cash, i always look for something TANGIBLE, that i can look back on and say thats where the money went and get some use out of it.

being only 24ft, it should be pretty easy to get in and out of everywere id ever want to take it. i think my truck will be fine for pulling it ( 3/4 ton chevy, high output 350hp 5.7L 350) except ill probably get me an aftermarket tranny cooler though, just to be on the safe side.....im also going to get a big radiator too.

Kent,

youll have to get around and get a C tag one of these seasons and come on up.....hundreds of deer up here bro

Sweeeet bro!

I hope it brings you and your family some happy times and memories.

On a side note (and not to hijack this thread) I needed to vent. I just spent the day gutting my garage and moving my boat and trailer in there. Plus I had to do it so I could still get my truck in there. I have about 6 inches on all sides to get my truck in. Why you ask? Well, the city decided to send me a letter telling me to get them off the side of the house. Unless I paved, cemented or laid down brick or cobble, I can't have them there. The fine... $470. fark YOU!!!!

I'm REALLY getting to the end of my rope with all the bullshit I have to endure from our elected officials.
I'm turning a new leaf. I am going on the offensive. It's time to bring it to them, instead of always taking it in the ass.
So, if you see me on the 11:00 news any time soon, don't be surprised. I don't mean anything illegal. It's just time to make my voice heard.

shit, ill be watchin!

we needa get the legal fund going guys!

i know what you mean though. its a bunch of bullshit. even if you own your home, they come and screw with you. they did that to a friend of mine living in sacramento. he has a slicked up el camino 4X4 ( on a chevy half ton chassis..bad ass) that he takes out once in awhile. its licensed, looks nice, runs beautiful, ect and the city ame by his place and told him he couldnt park it on the street in front of his house. so he said OK, and moved it into his driveway. the city came the very next week and told him he couldnt have it there either. he told them screw u!....then he came home from work and found the city TOWED IT , RIGHT OUT OF HIS FREAKIN DRIVEWAY! he even owns his house outright like i do. i wouldnt think that if you own something and its on your property, especially if you own it outright they could pull that shit, but apparently they can. personally, id tell them to get F'ed

Just let me see them come on my property!
I have an iron fence with an electric gate around my front yard. I'm thinking about running some electricity to the fence and gate. One problem, there's school kids that walk by everyday. I don't want them hurt, but sure would like to see a crispy city official.

This all just boils my blood! So, instead of me having a nice spacious garage to do things in, I have a damn cramped space and have to put my truck out in the sun if I want to do anything. I'm collecting all the names off the city officials and writing them. Plus I'll be doing some drive by's of their homes and making sure they are in complete compliance of ALL city ordinances.

I AM WATCHING ALL OF YOUR ASSES!!!

bro, if i were you, id put everything back exactly as it was, same spots, ect and take pictures of it from the street, then id get on the telephone, and find out whos in charge of that sort of shit for the city. id then take the time to print the photos, and head right down to their office and step off in their assess....

one thing you gotta remember though. generally, its the in-field assholes who decide what is OK and what isnt. some rookie A hole may have driven by and seen the stuff, not knowing if it was OK or not, and wrote your address down. also, before going to their office, id take the time to talk to your neighbors and ask them if maybe they complained about it or something ( in a nice way of course) then when you go in, you can say you spoke to all of them and it seems the only one who had a problem is whomever the asshole was who wrote your address down.

also, be prepared if they want to be knottheads about it, to go over THEIR heads. remeber, generally when it comes to city and county officials, when and if you ask to speak to their supervisor, they have t give you the info or call them up. i have no doubt youll get to the bottom of it.

I spent the other day going over all the city ordinances.
I called the witch who drove by and talked to her also.

Here's what I would have to do to comply.
I would have to either pave, cement, or brick/cobble the area that is being used to store my trailer and boat. It would have to be level with the existing driveway and connect to it.

I can't afford any of those. Even if I could, I would have to reroute my drainage system from my rain gutters (I have them all draining under the ground to the street) and remove a freakin ton of topsoil.

Anyway, I'm going to be a good lemming and comply. FOR NOW!!!

i spent the entire day sitting there at the rv dealership waiting on those slow asses. was it worth it?...hell F'ing yes it was. im to tired t take anymore pix tonight, but ill get some posted tomorrow. the thing is like brand new too. nice rig, and pulls like a dream.
