IT IS HOT!- remeber, the valley is in an extreme fire danger condition right now, and probably until the end of the summer. if your headed out to your prospecting grounds, please, make sure to know where the current fire lines are. make sure that you have a plan,just in case a fire sneaks up on you. also, be aware that this time of year fires are started quite often by improper spark arrestors, so make sure before you even head to the hills to take the time to check your gas powered equipments spark arrestors! watch for the signs of heat exposure and exhaustion also!...carry plenty of water, and stay well hydrated. being in the water doesn't prevent dehydration!...be careful out there!
